Privacy Policy
How ARJ Golf Academy collects, uses, protects, and deletes information provided through this website.
Effective date: August 16, 2026
ARJ Golf Academy (“ARJ Golf Academy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through arjgolfacademy.com, why we collect it, how it is shared, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
We collect information that you choose to provide when you contact us, purchase coaching, or submit an Online Swing Analysis. This may include:
- Your name, email address, and contact information.
- Golf-related information such as scoring range, handicap, ball flight, common miss, club used, goals, and coaching context.
- Face-on and down-the-line swing videos.
- Age-group information and, when applicable, a parent or legal guardian’s name and consent confirmation.
- Purchase and transaction references associated with Stripe checkout. ARJ Golf Academy does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.
- Messages, questions, and other information you send to us.
- Practice-plan information such as your name, email address, scoring range, selected weakness, practice location, available time, primary goal, generated plan, and optional marketing consent.
- Hybrid coaching application information such as your phone number, goals, challenges, practice and travel availability, program preferences, and acceptance of program policies.
- Online coaching application information such as your location, time zone, practice access, playing frequency, review priorities, goals, challenges, and acceptance of program policies.
- Review-submission information such as your private name and email, chosen public attribution, golfer description, coaching service, review, rating, improvement, and publication permissions.
Our hosting and security providers may also automatically process limited technical information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, request logs, and timestamps, to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Process purchases and verify access to paid services.
- Review swing videos and provide personalized coaching, drills, written summaries, and follow-up support.
- Communicate about submissions, purchases, scheduling, questions, and service updates.
- Generate an on-site practice plan, notify ARJ Golf Academy when a plan is generated, and improve the practice-plan library.
- Review Hybrid Performance Coaching and Monthly Online Coaching applications, evaluate program fit, and respond to applicants.
- Verify, moderate, and—only with permission—publish student reviews and approved photos.
- Send occasional golf instruction, practice resources, and academy updates only when you provide optional marketing consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time.
- Maintain the security, reliability, and integrity of the website.
- Comply with legal, accounting, tax, and fraud-prevention obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use submitted swing videos for advertising, public posting, testimonials, artificial-intelligence model training, or promotional content without separate permission.
Service providers
We share information only as reasonably necessary to operate the service. Current providers include Stripe for payment processing, Vercel for website hosting and private file storage, and Resend for transactional email notifications. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer.
Video storage and retention
Swing videos are stored in private cloud storage and are accessible only to ARJ Golf Academy and service providers that support the storage system. Videos are retained for up to 90 days after submission and may be deleted sooner when they are no longer needed. Related transaction, communication, and business records may be retained longer when reasonably necessary for customer service, accounting, legal, security, or tax purposes.
You may request earlier deletion of your videos. Deleting videos does not reverse a completed coaching service or automatically create a right to a refund.
Junior golfers
This website is a general-audience service and is not intended for direct use by children under 13. A parent or legal guardian must purchase and submit information and videos on behalf of any golfer under 13. Golfers ages 13 through 17 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. Parents and guardians may contact us to request access to or deletion of a junior golfer’s information.
Security and international use
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect submitted information, including private file storage and server-side payment verification. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
ARJ Golf Academy is based in the United States. If you use the service from another country, your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations used by our service providers.
Your choices and requests
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information you submitted, subject to legal and operational retention requirements. You may also withdraw marketing consent or ask questions about how your information is handled by emailing us. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the website or services change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through the website or another reasonable method.
